A bookmark saves the specific page and filters you are currently looking at so that you can get to the data you care about, quickly. For example, on the attendance dashboard you may find yourself regularly looking at the Student Attendance page to understand the attendance of 8th graders with IEPs.
Bookmarks are associated with a specific dashboard. If we created a bookmark in the screen shot above, the bookmark would be tied to the Attendance dashboard.
